Had a family having a medical emergency (a healthy young male) and was taken to the ER. He was put out of triage into the waiting room with little to no motor function control, labored breathing and losing consciousness. I had to go to a staff member to request help as he was being held upright by other family members. Said staff member walked over to the closest triage nurse, and was seen by all of us laughing along with the nurse that came to assist, as if the situation was thoroughly amusing to them because I had used the term non-responsive (which he absolutely was). He was taken back to a room, after which the same nurse returned to to inform us that he "belched really big and was talking and able to get comfy" as if to completely disarm the fact that HE HAD JUST TURNED WHITE AND COLLAPSED IN THE WAITING ROOM FLOOR. Later on, when he was seen by a doctor, the doctor took it upon himself to scold her for recounting that the young man had been non-responsive multiple times over the last several hours, exclaiming "that isn't what that means." I'm no linguist, but collapsed in the floor is what most of humanity would define as non-responsive. Do better.

Dr. Emily Ross is the best provider in South Central KY. In fact, she is the best doctor I have ever had. So many one stars and angry reviews these days. I can genuinely say I feel lucky and blessed to be one of Dr. Rossโ patients. I recently missed an appointment and was horrified of a potential consequence. My first missed appointment in a couple year. But still, I was truly afraid I could be dropped from her practice. Thatโs how I know my doctor is special and generational. Not having her as my advocate and healer would hurt deeply. Per usual, she showed me immense grace and compassion. I just canโt be convinced that any medical professional is more thoughtful, gracious, empathetic, intelligent, or genuine than her. Period. In summation: 1. Do yourself a huge favor and set a consultation with Dr. Emily Ross (while you still can. Patient book is filling very quickly). 2. Never (ever) miss important meetings with those who only want to help you. Dr. Ross is humble, hard working, ridiculously bright, and an extremely caring human being. We could all use more people like that in our lives. She blesses everyone she comes into contact with. Thank you maโam!!! Keep up the exceptional

Had a Heart Rate of 122 so my husband talked me in to going to ER at Medical Center what a Nightmare. This little young Dr. done nothing. Now heart rate 122 and b/p 156/106 . My husband ask about it and was told they donโt treat Blood Pressure. Why didnโt they call my heart Dr. I was told if I left with out the Dr. releaseing me I would have to pay for my visit. So I laid till shift change. About 8 am the nurse with a smart attitude came in the door like she owned the place wanting to know why I was still there. Said I had been released. I said why didnโt someone tell me. You havenโt done anything all night. Then the day Dr order a test I know he wasnโt suppose to do. There more to that. No records could be found when I got to ICU.

I gave birth at this hospital and had a very traumatic experience. While most of the nurses were kind, my doctor did not have my best interests in mind and did not follow my birth plan. I was induced earlier than needed (they had a schedule to follow and stated โitโs sooner than we hoped) and I ended up laboring for 35 hours before needing a C-section that became nearly emergent. After delivery, I repeatedly asked to see my baby (as in my birth plan as well) but my wishes were not respected. Instead of bringing him to me right away for skin-to-skin, they prioritized footprints, cleaning, and weighing, I had to wait about 15 minutes before I was finally able to see my baby, which was incredibly distressing in such an important moment and something other mothers should know when looking into this hospital. Since then, Iโve heard similar negative experiences from others about this hospital. I strongly encourage expecting mothers to consider other options for labor and delivery.

I was brought here because my body had shut down and no one knew why. I was basically treated like a burden because I didnโt have any identifiable characteristics that show like oh his arm is broke. Oh he has a huge opened wound, etc. etc.. 3C04. That was my room I was transferred to on the floor a step down from ICU. Mac: exceptional nurse that made me feel heard and understood to the best of anyoneโs knowledge that I was in a lot of pain and I could not move. Chris (dayshift, nurse) exceptional nurse who did everything he could to help me be comfortable. Rachel: good nurse, but we didnโt have a whole lot of time together since I was transferred to Louisville that night. Chris (dayshift nurse who couldnโt be bothered with anything about anything. Walks out of patient rooms separating his glasses like he committed some kind of high-pressure victory) honestly an unpleasant person. Like why are you a nurse if you genuinely do not like people? Staying for the money keeps you in a pretty miserable cycle. Jordan the Night Shift nurse liked playing games like when I would request to be moved up in my bed and stretched, and she would tell me that she needed to find the tech. Then I woul
